We are excited to tell you about First Impressions Lawn & Landscape and the opportunities that are available to you.  Having been in business for 10 plus years, we have grown steadily and have just recently moved to our new 4000 sq foot facility in Sunbury, Ohio Industrial Center. This expansion has allowed us to add to our landscape and maintenance services a wholesale and retail entity, Mulch 1st.   Of course, we will still maintain “The Farm”, the 60 acres on SR 605 in New Albany, where we will house our nursery.

Currently we have the following fulltime benefits eligible positions available:

Chemical Applications Technician

Responsible for managing a geographical territory of residential and commercial customers by implementing timely and professional turf, tree and shrub treatments.  Must build and maintain a market image of quality and excellent customer service.  ODA certified/licensed pesticide applicator in turf and ornamental pest control preferred; valid driver’s license and good driving record mandatory; 2 year assoc. degree in Horticulture or related field or equivalent work/education experience. Will consider right candidate who can become certified within 30 days.

Landscape and Construction Lead

Looking for an individual with technical expertise and leadership ability.  Able to implement designs and lead a team performing commercial/ residential landscaping including brick & stone patios, retaining walls and tree and shrub planting.  Desire experience in landscaping and construction.  Requires general equipment knowledge, excellent customer service and communication skills and a clean driving record.

Lawn and Maintenance Lead

Provides direction and leadership to the mowing team.  This working team leader is responsible for ensuring quality of work, safety of work sight and employees and completion of maintenance and mowing based on customer’s expectations.  Must have good attention to detail, general knowledge of lawn equipment and excellent customer service and communication skills.  A clean driving record is mandatory. 

NOTE: All positions are fulltime benefits eligible.  Benefits include healthcare, retirement, vacation and personal time off.  Compensation is commensurate with experience.
